Charles is a Safety, Health and Environmental expert with over 20 years of experience in Mineral Exploration in Southern, Eastern, Central, West and North Africa. He  worked in South Africa, Tanzania, Namibia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Djibouti, Egypt, Guinea, Ethiopia, Turkey, UK and Brazil.

 

Charles holds a National diploma from Tswana University in Environmental Management and has passed with a credit the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

He is a member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). 

 

Companies he has worked for are Anglo American, AngloGold Ashanti, Thani Ashanti, Lonmin, BHP Billiton, Anagold and some junior exploration companies.

 

From Jan 2012 till Oct 2013 he was the Safety Manager for Thani Ashanti responsible for all Safety, Health and Environmental issues for their operations in Egypt, Djibouti and Ethiopia.
